We cover most of the Yorkshire Region, with a price of £2 per mile (one way) from BD1 3PZ in addition to the above quoted prices.

Self Drive Hire
…You drive and operate the Truck Mounted Access Platform
Each person who will drive our truck mounts must be registered on our hire systems.
• Hold Full UK Drivers Licence
• Must be over 25 Years of Age,
• No more than 3 points on their licence
• Must hold a valid 1b IPAF Licence
You will need to bring your driving licence including the counterpart and 2 proofs of address, and your IPAF Badge. We always carry out a familiarisation handover, and we go through the safety procedures, which will include setting up of the platform and the emergency lowering procedure.
Sufficient time will be made available for you to familiarise yourself with the operational procedures. Once completed, further hires will only need the hire contract to be signed. You can then drive the platform and operate it yourself, up to the duration of the hire contract, normally an 8 hour period anytime, day or night.
A deposit for the machine of £500, this deposit is normally taken on a Pre-Auth basis ie the money is ring fenced in your account but not actually taken. On completion of the hire the balance is released back for you to use.
Long term contract hire
For powered access hires over 1 week we offer a range of extended term schemes. These include:
• Significantly reduced hire rates
• Liveried platforms representing your own corporate identity for hires over 2 months
• Replacement machine during routine maintenance and obligatory inspections
• Predictable in-life costs
• IPAF qualified operator licence must be supplied

It should also be noted that our machines are designed as platforms for people to work at height with light loads (see weight limits in basket) and should, under no circumstances be used as materials hoists. Any infringement of this will be placing the vehicle out of its designed parameters and other than potentially damaging the machine will place yourselves and anyone in proximity of the machine in grave danger.
If we are made aware of this type of action then the machine will immediately be confiscated, the HSE or any other relevant trade bodies will be notified. Operated Hire Rates
Prices quoted are for operator included hire rates, and are based on an 8 hour day starting from when arrival on site.
Duration of hire begins once driver is on site, hire charges includes qualified IPAF operator for the complete hire period.
Experienced IPAF licence holder included.
Hours can be adjusted for weekend hire but must not exceed 16 hours in total.

Our Operator will be happy to assist with you if you require, within the costs provided.
You will be supplied with all the safety equipment required, eg.. hard hat, high viz jacket, harness and full safety guidance and assistance by our fully IPAF qualified operator.
You may just like some extra assistance or someone else to operate the machine while you get on.

Terms and conditions for an Access Platform supplied on Self Drive Hire
All equipment is hired out under the Hire Conditions without exception, these terms and conditions are available at the time of booking, a copy is given on each hire, a non refundable £500 booking deposit will be required for all hires, on short notice hires we will require full payment, all payments will be by debit or credit card, (a charge of 1.70-2.2% will apply to credit card payments), payment by any other means will attract an additional minimum fee of £20.
We are fully insured and any claims will be handled directly by the insurance company. Copies of our insurance are available on request, please note that we are not insuring the hirer and you must have your own liability insurance if you cause any damage to the platform or property ie when cutting down tree’s, a log drops onto the truck and breaks something
All outdoor hires are subject to weather conditions, especially strong winds which would necessitate cancellation. Under such circumstances we will re-book another date at the first available opportunity at no additional cost.
We reserve the right to request a written surveyors report detailing ground conditions where the hired equipment is to be set up.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to provide or pay for parking as applicable. Please note that to enable loading/unloading the lift, 2 car parking spaces / bays are required if no off street facilities are available. It is the hirer’s responsibility to provide the parking facilities required.
We reserve the right to charge £100 for cleaning if the equipment is returned significantly dirty.
We will accept no responsibility for any damage to paths, and underground drainage or buried service cables etc. The Hinowa Tracked machine weighs 1.8 tons . It is the hirer’s responsibility to make sure that the surface is capable of taking the necessary load.
